Max Fiedler, the new conductor of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, has made public a partial list of the novelties which he expects to produce during the coming season. There are two symphonies in the list–Bruckner's Eighth, which has never been played in Boston and possibly never in this country, and a new symphony by Paderewski, which will have its first performance when the composer visits Boston early in the next year.
