Die Aufführung der 8. Symphonie [12.3.1909] wird in der St. Louis Post-Dispatch Nr. 44 (St. Louis, Missouri) auf S. 10 angekündigt:
" Max Fiedler, the new conductor of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, has made public a partial list of the novelties which he expects to produce during the coming season. There are two symphonies on the list, Bruckner's Eighth, which has never been played in Boston and possibly never in this country, and a new symphony by Paderewski which will have its first performance anywhere when the composer-pianist visits Boston after the first of the year.
