The Nebraska State Journal (Lincoln, Nebraska) kündigt auf S. 15 (= S. 3 des 2. Teils) die Aufführung einer Bruckner-Symphonie in Manchester an [9. Symphonie und "Te deum" am 28.11.1912]:
"     Unusual interest attaches to the prospectus of the next season of the Halle concerts, which will be the first under the control of Mr. Balling, says the London correspondent of Musical America. The program, taken all around, is more catholic than those of the Hale [recte: Hallé] season have been for some time past. Among the unfamiliar works included are [... Beethoven (Kantate), Max Reger (100. Psalm), Berlioz (Requiem), "Parsifal" 2. und 3. Akt ...], the symphony of Mahler, and works by Bruckner, Klose, Bleyle and Berger. A new departure is indicated in the announcement that Prof, Balling will give explanatory lectures on some, at least, of the important new works."
