The Salt Lake Tribune (Salt Lake City, Utah) bringt auf S. 29 einen Bericht, der die Eindrücke in einem Münchner Konzert mit der 5. Symphonie [am 17.3.1913] schildert:
" Carreno Still Marvel.
That love and music are potent factors in the preservation of health and youthfulness is the conclusion of Jacques Moyen, who wrote recently from Munich of Mme. Carreno, world-renowned pianist:
Love–of course, I mean connubial love–and piano-playing must conduce in a most potent way to the preservation of health and the prolongation of youthfulness. How else could Teresa Carreno, who is certainly 57 years young [...] continue to present so attractive a picture of handsome and healthy womanhood [... und Beethovens Es-Dur-Klavierkonzert so vital spielen ...].
Mme. Carreno appeared at the Lowe subscription concert, at which the Viennese conductor brought out a new Suite for orchestra by Bernhard Sekles and Bruckner's Fifth Symphony.
