Ankündigung der 3. Symphonie für die nächste Saison [2./3.1.1914] in The Cincinnati Enquirer auf S. 2:
"           Matters Musical.

     Unless all signs fail, the season of Symphony concerts soon to be inaugurated seems destined to be the most brilliant one in the history of the organization. [... Lob für Dr. Kunwald, Orchester von 80 auf 88 vergrößert ... Solisten ...].

     The season will open with a Wagner Centenary program for the first pair of concerts Friday afternoon and Saturday evening, November 14 and 15 [... meist zweiwöchige Abstände ... über die Solokonzerte ...].

     While the programs for the various concerts have not yet been finally arranged, Dr. Kunwald has announced the symphonies to be performed. These include Beethoven, Nos. 2, 4, 5, 8; Berlioz, dramatic symphony, "Romeo and Juliet;" Brahms, Nos. 2 and 4; Bruckner, No. 3; Haydn [... Mendelssohn, Mozart, Schubert, Schumann und Tschaikowsky ...].

    The auction sale for the choice of seats and boxes will be held [...]." (**).
