" MARTIN LUTHER IS EULOGIZED BY GERMAN CHURCH

     Thousands of the city's German Lutherans poured out to four great mass meetings yesterday afternoon and last night to witness the exercises [... Thesenanschlag durch Luther am 31. Oktober ...].

     The principal speaker in Carnegie Hall, where the services were held by the local congregations of the German Evangelical Synod of North America, was Rev. Dr. F. L. Dorn of Cincinnati. [... weitere Beteiligte ...].

     Song service formed a big part of the services here. A selection from Guilmant, played by H. C. Fehsenfeld, was the opening number. Anton Bruckner's "O Lord Most Holy," was sung by the chorus of the First United Evangelical Church, and a "Te Deum," by Dudley Buck, by the same chorus, was the next musical number.
