Auf S. 3 erfolgt ein nochmaliger Hinweis auf den heutigen Bruckner-Vortrag (**).

Dritter Bruckner-Vortrag von Emil Schennich, diesmal über die 1. und 2. Symphonie, im Probesaal des Musikvereins in Innsbruck (***).

The Evening News Nr. 1480 (Harrisburg, Pennsylvania) berichten von der Bruckner- und Mahler-Pflege in Deuschland und zitieren aus der Zeitschrift "Vorwärts" [vom 21.10.1921]:

"     "No week without Bruckner, none without Mahler." So writes the Vorwarts of Berlin, and adds, "God protect us from the fashions and the well advertised Freude schoner Gotterfunken." Bruckner's seventh symphony was played in Berlin [vor dem 20.10.1921] under Fritz Reiner, conductor of the Dresden opera. Reichenberger played the fourth [siehe die Anmerkung]. In Cologne there were recent performances if the third, spoken of as "the Wagner symphony," and the seventh, the latter in memory of the anniversary of the composer's death. Numerous performances of Mahler's symphonies are also mentioned in the German press." (°).
