The organ committee of the Mount Carmel [... über die Orgel und den ersten Gastorganisten, Pietro Alessandro Yon von St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York ...].
Signor Yon is the only living organist possessing the title of honorary soloist to the Vatican, and Professor Festeneck, as many Ridgewoodites already know, has long studied with eminent msaters [sic] of the organ in Europe, among them being Julius Zoehrer, formerly of the Veinna [sic] conservatory, and Anton Bruckner, the latter being honored with the Palaestrina medal, the highest award for musical composition. [...]."
