The Brooklyn Times (Times Union, Brooklyn, New York) gibt auf S. 9 einen chronologischen Überblick über das heutige und morgige Radioprogramm und kündigt für den 28.12.1930 um 14 Uhr eine Aufführung der 8. Symphonie durch das Roxy Symphony Orchestra an:

"Outside Listening In

     So we arrive at Sunday and the regular features of the radio for that day [... ab 11:30 ...] . . . .  Anton Bruckner's Eighth Symphony will be broadcast for the first time when the Roxy Symphony group takes the air over WJZ at 2 . . . .  This will be the only number played.      [...]." (*).

The Evening Sun Nr. 87 (Hanover, Pennsylvania) meldet auf S. 4, dass diese Aufführung auf den 4.1.1931 verschoben wird:

"NOTES OF MUSIC WORLD

[...]

    The broadcast of Bruckner's eighth symphony by the Roxy Symphony Orchestra, announced for tomorrow, will take place on Sunday, Jan. 4. The orchestra will present over Station WJZ tomorrow at 2 p. m. compositions by Beethoven, Johann Strauss, Brodin [sic], Liszt and Wagner.
