Das Stift Kremsmünster [Oddo Loidol, Georg Huemer?] schickt die Partitur der f-moll-Messe an Bruckner zurück (*).
Im Jahresrückblick der Dails News Nr. 13020 auf S. 3 in der 4. Spalte wird auch Bruckner erwähnt [7. Symphonie in London am 23.5.1887]:

The busy musical year which has now closed has been more than usually prolific not only in performances but also in works. [... englische Kompositionen ...]. So large a list of English compositions is in every respect satisfactory.
Nor, thanks to the eclectic tastes which prevail in this country, have we neglected the works of more or less eminent foreign musiciansof the past and present. During the year 1887 amateurs have heard for the first time [... einige Beispiele ...], symphonies by Richard Wagner, Brückner No. 7 and Widor in A, [... Dvorak, Rubinstein etc. ... Oper (Tadel für zu starkers Tremolo), Pianisten etc., Verstorbene ...]." (**).
