Im Konzert des Deutschen Männergesangvereins Innsbruck unter Leitung von Ehrensangmeister Toni Fischer wird von Bruckner "Mitternacht" (WAB 80) aufgeführt. Mitwirkende: Ernst Mayr (Tenorsolo) und Hans Zingerle (Klavier) und bei andern Programmnummern der Cellist Fritz Römisch (***).

Die Österreichische Volkszeitung Nr. 333 kündigt auf S. 5 die Aufführung des Locus iste am 8.12.1924 an (°).

Die Shamokin Dispatch Nr. 13 (Shamokin News-Dispatch, Shamokin, Pennsylvania) informiert auf S. 2 über die Filmmusik, die auch Musik von Bruckner [4. Symphonie] verwendet:

"LARGE CROWDS ATTEND TEN COMMANDMENTS

     The splendid score of "The Ten Commandments," Cecil B. DeMille's mighty dramatic spectacle at the Chestnut street theatre, Sunbury, three days. starting last night, twice daily, was written by Hugo Riesenfeld and will be interpreted by a symphony orchestra of 20 musicians carried on tour. Many ancient and foreign melodies that have never before been heard in this country are included in the score. The first part is of distinctly oriental flavor, although Dr. Riesenfeld composed much of the score, he has also used many selections from Rubinstein, Rimsky-Horsokoff [sic] and Bruckner. During the unfolding of the modern story, many popular melodies of the day are used, including such old favorites as Molloy's "Loves Old Sweet Song." "The Ten Commandments" comes to Sunbury following five successful weeks at the National theatre in Washington." (°°).
