Im der Konzertvorschau "Music and Drama" in The Manchester Guardian Nr. 25451 auf S. 11 wird das Konzert vom 26.3.1928 angekündigt:

"     In the Rochdale Art Gallery on Monday evening the Rochdale Male Voice Choir will give a concert, with an excellent programme containing pieces by Orlando di Lasso, [... acht Komponisten ...], Bantock, and, of all composers in this part of the world, Bruckner! The Rochdale Male Voice Choir is conducted by Mr. George Whitaker, [... frühere Erfolge, jetzt Mitgliedersorgen ...]." (**).
