The Sydney Morning Herald Nr. 28436 bespricht auf S. 12 neue Schallplatten (vgl. die Ankündigung am 30.1.1929):
"           NEW RECORDS.
        (BY L. de NOSKOWSKI.)
Erica Morini, the young Viennese violinist [... Viotti ... Schubertiana ...].
The Bruckner Choir of Vienna [sic] sings two works by Alexander Bruckner [sic] (Parlophone), whose works are almost totally unknown in Australia. The "Te Deum" is rather impressive and stirring. The male chorus is heard first, and the sopranos answer with a rather appealing melody. The remainder is chiefly a dialogue between the various parts of the chorus. The prayer sung pianissimo and gradually swelling to a fortissimo, with a corresponding quickening of the tempo, is cleverly conceived and dispels all motions of monotony. The orchestral [su]pport is fine, bringing the singing into bold relief. "Tu Rex Gloriae Christe" is also pervaded by a drastic intensity, made more conspicuous by the exceptionally fine singing of the chorus and the solo parts, and the treatment of the composition is very interesting throughout.
     Sigrid Onegin, [...]." (*).

Die Wochenzeitung Brooklyn Life Nr. 2028 bringt auf S. 21 einen Artikel "Music Under Hindenburg" über eine Studie von Erich Urban "of the musical works played at the national holidays of the Kaiser's time and of the present republican era." Furtwängler habe seinen Urlaub unterbrochen, um am 11.8.1928 beim Verfassungstag in Berlin Werke von Händel, Waldemar von Baussner und einen Psalm von Bruckner [150. Psalm] zu dirigieren (**).

The Boston Globe Nr. 54 berichtet auf S. 17 (signiert "P. R."), dass im gestrigen Konzert nicht die 8. Symphonie gespielt wurde, die auf nächsten Monat [22./23.3.1929] verschoben werde (***).
