The Dayton News Nr. 249 (Dayton, Ohio) melden auf S. 19 die Linzer Aufführung von "Trösterin Musik", Adagio des Quintetts, Gloria der f-Moll-Messe und der 5. Symphonie [am 23.3.1902 (Textvorlage wie am 1.6.1902)]:

"                      In the World of Music
[... u. a. über Debussys "Pelleas" ...].
     In the year 1897 the city of Linn [sic], Austria, voted a sum of money for the performance, year by year, of all the compositions of Anton Bruckner. This year's program included "Die Trosterin," the adagio from the string quintet, the Gloria of the F-minor mass, and the fifth symphony. It will take about 25 years to go through the whole list of compositions." (*).

Dieselbe Meldung erscheint auch in The Dayton Herald auf S. 7:
"                  MUSICAL NOTES
[...]
     In the year 1897 the city of Linz, Austria, voted a sum of money for the performance, year after year, of all the compositions of Anton Bruckner. This year's program included "Die Trosterin," the adagio from the string quintet, the Gloria of the F-minor mass, and the fifth symphony.
