The Kansas City Star Nr. 83 (Kansas City, Missouri) bringt auf S. 43 (= S. 7 des 3. Teils) einen Musikbericht aus New York, der sich mit moderner Musik befasst:
"            THE MUSIC WORLD.

    The International Composers' Guild gave its first concert of the present season last week. The purpose of this organization is to give darkest New York opportunity to become enlightened as to the progress music is making toward freedom from the shackles of tradition, the restraining forms of the old masters anf the enslavement of the antiquated scales and harmonies used by Wagner, Brahms, Bruckner, Mahler, Richard Strauss and that lot. When you go to a concert of the guild you you have to sit up.
     The programm included [... Strawinsky (unter Stokowski, wurde wiederholt), Schönberg ("Herzgewächse"), Delage (Claudio Arrau, auswendig!) ...].
     "Faust" was given at the Metropolitan opera house [... über die Aufführung ... Boston Symphony Orchestra unter Monteux ... "Mefistofele" mit Schaljapin ...].
